Position Summary

Under direct supervision, coordinates all activities and functions of the Newborn Medicine Research Program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.

• Coordinating activities and daily operations of the Newborn Medicine Research Program, including providing direct on-site administrative support for four to five Division principal investigators and their clinical/basic laboratories.
• Preparing or assisting in preparation of proposals for research funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors.
• Maintaining Newborn Medicine office/research space and equipment. Greeting all office visitors. Organizing mail, answering phone calls, and triaging information requests. Requesting equipment repair and maintenance services, communicating with hospital support service departments, as needed.
• Administratively coordinates the Newborn Medicine Summer Student Research Program from the application process to the hiring and onboarding of the students and the educational events of the program.
• Scheduling and coordinating logistics for Divisional meetings, events, seminars and conferences

• Associate's or equivalent experience.

• 1 year of relevant experience.
