We are partnering with a well-established Boston-based law firm seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and support a variety of administrative and HR functions. This is a highly visible, hands-on opportunity for a proactive and organized professional who enjoys taking ownership, supporting employees, and ensuring the office operates efficiently across multiple locations.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this individual will serve as a key resource for employees, leadership, and external partners while helping maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office operations, facilities, supplies, and logistics across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate vendors, building maintenance, office moves, buildouts, and firmwide events.
  • Maintain relationships with landlords, IT providers, cleaning services, and other external partners.
  • Support HR administration, including onboarding, offboarding, I-9s, employee records, PTO tracking, and timekeeping.
  • Assist with employee benefits administration, including group health plans, PPO enrollments, and employee inquiries.
  • Manage office budgets, vendor contracts, invoice approvals, expense reports, and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain operational compliance, insurance renewal schedules, and records retention processes.
  • Coordinate new hire training and serve as a go-to resource for employees regarding day-to-day operational and administrative needs.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in office management, office operations, or a related administrative role.
  • Previous experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred.
  • HR administration and/or employee benefits experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with group health plans and PPO enrollment is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive, personable, and resourceful approach, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
