Automotive Service Advisor​/Writer

Location: Newton, MA & Watertown, MA

Compensation: $100,000-$200,000 total earning potential for top-level performers

This opportunity is especially strong for someone currently working in a customer-facing tire/service environment who understands pace, customer urgency, vehicle service, sales process, and the discipline it takes to win on the front line. If you have built a strong foundation in tires, service coordination, customer communication, and fast-paced automotive retail, this is a chance to step into a full-service repair environment with significantly higher upside.

Pleasant Car Care is looking for someone who wants more than a counter job. The best Service Advisors in this environment can build trust, control the customer experience, present needed work with integrity, and turn customer-service discipline into a serious six-figure automotive career.

• Greet customers, build trust quickly, and create a professional first impression
• Listen to customer concerns and translate them into clear repair orders
• Review inspections, estimates, maintenance needs, tires, brakes, alignments, and repair recommendations
• Present service recommendations with confidence, urgency, and integrity
• Communicate clearly with customers throughout the repair process
• Coordinate workflow with technicians, managers, and other advisors
• Follow up with customers, drive approvals, and help the shop operate at a high level
• Deliver a premium service experience that keeps customers coming back

• 2-5 years of automotive service, tire sales, service coordination, assistant manager, crew chief, or customer-facing automotive retail experience preferred
• Strong customer communication and sales instincts
• Comfortable in a fast-paced service environment with high expectations
• Competitive, coachable, and motivated by growth and income potential
• Ability to build trust, overcome objections, and keep customers informed
• Organized enough to manage multiple repair orders, estimates, calls, and follow-ups
• Professional, team-first, and willing to learn a higher-level repair-shop operating model
• Valid driver's license

• Tire Sales Associate, Assistant Manager, Service Coordinator, Crew Chief, or Service Assistant ready for a bigger career path
• Tire and wheel sales or service management
• High-volume customer service or automotive retail leadership
• Fast-paced sales roles where urgency, trust, and follow-up matter
