The Commercial Business Development Manager recruits, trains, develops and supports new and existing BDRs and Growth Specialists to ensure that they meet specific new business goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Meet 1:1 with direct reports to provide coaching and give feedback.
- Educating team on e-commerce best practices, demoing the platform, and removing barriers for them to activate new customers.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ensures specific business goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Works cross functionally with teams outside of Sales, especially Marketing.
- Provides sales coaching to BDRs and/or Growth Specialists.
- Assists with refining processes.
- Implements feedback from other departments or external customers.
- Drives system and process efforts in generating and closing new business.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

- You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you’re excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
- Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.
- 2+ years of Business Development and/or Account Executive experience - experience in high-transaction sales preferred.
- Proven track record of being a consistent top sales performer - experience in the Mar Tech space a plus.
- 1+ years of team lead and/or management experience, a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience, a Bachelor’s degree or above a plus.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
