BIP is currently expanding its footprint in the United States, focusing on growing its Life Sciences business within global pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Our teams operate at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and data to help our clients in driving smarter decisions, reducing risks, and staying ahead in a fast-evolving market environment.
About the Role:We are seeking a Senior Consultant level or Manager level consultant with deep Market Access expertise to lead high-impact engagements across pricing, payer strategy, HEOR, and launch excellence for biopharma clients. This role is ideal for candidates coming from Big 4 or top-tier life sciences consultancies who want to combine strategic rigor with hands‑on client leadership and real influence on commercialization outcomes.
You will manage multiple work streams, act as a trusted client advisor, and help shape end‑to‑end access strategies across U.S. and global markets—while contributing to firm growth through proposal development and thought leadership.
This role will be hybrid based out of NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, or Raleigh. Applicants must reside within reasonable commuting distance to one of these major cities. Please do not apply if you do not meet this criterion.
Key Responsibilities:- Market Access & Commercial Strategy
- Lead end‑to‑end market access strategies including payer segmentation, access pathways, reimbursement readiness, and launch planning
- Develop pricing, contracting, and value strategies informed by payer policy mapping, analog analysis, and competitive insights
- Shape value narratives and evidence strategies to support reimbursement, HTA engagement, and formulary positioning
- Support market expansion and go/no‑go decisions through access‑informed portfolio and pipeline assessments
- Manage multi‑workstream consulting engagements, overseeing teams, vendors, timelines, and deliverables
- Serve as a day‑to‑day client lead, engaging senior stakeholders across payer, provider, and commercial functions
- Translate complex data and research into clear, executive‑ready recommendations
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, providing coaching and quality oversight
- Contribute to business development, proposal development, and account expansion
- Support service line growth through thought leadership, methodologies, and best practices
- 6–10+ years of experience in Market Access, Pricing, HEOR, or Commercial Strategy within life sciences
- Consulting experience strongly preferred, particularly from Big 4 or top‑tier strategy/market access firms
- Proven experience leading payer strategy, launch readiness, pricing & contracting, or access analytics initiatives
- Strong understanding of U.S. payer dynamics; global market access exposure a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Excellent client‑facing, storytelling, and executive communication skills
- Experience across biopharma launches, portfolio strategy, or commercialization transformation strongly preferred
- Exposure to payer, provider, or health system strategy preferred
- Track record of contributing to business development or account growth preferred
