Weber Gallagher, a leading Mid Atlantic law firm with 130 attorneys across 13 offices, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Business Development Coordinator to support and advance cross marketing initiatives across the firm’s practices and offices. This role is essential to driving collaboration, expanding client relationships, and strengthening our position across key industries. Working closely with the Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer, practice group leaders, and attorneys firmwide, the Coordinator will help identify opportunities, create integrated marketing materials, and support the implementation of strategic business development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the CMBDO, department directors, and practice leaders to drive and support business development initiatives across offices and disciplines.
  • Coordinate regular meetings with attorneys and firm leaders to track progress on goals, manage priorities, and foster collaboration.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor annual business development plans and budgets for the firm, departments and individual attorneys. Assist attorneys in preparing individual business plans and provide support for priority initiatives.
  • Collaborate with CMBDO to develop strategic roadmap of firm capabilities per jurisdiction.
Client Development & Market Positioning
  • Identify and support opportunities for attorneys to build meaningful relationships with key industries and trade associations.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-market and build business, develop and execute plans to expand client relationships.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop targeted outreach efforts and strengthen client facing strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of tailored proposal content database, practice-specific presentations, and other customized marketing collateral.
Marketing & Practice Group Support
  • In partnership with the marketing team, coordinate practice group events, sponsor ships, speaking engagements, and advertising opportunities.
  • Support practice group submissions for Chambers, Law Journal surveys, and other major rankings and directories.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment of all collateral with firm values and practice strengths.
Knowledge Management & Data Tracking
  • Support efforts to manage and leverage firmwide business development data, experience information, and CRM tools.
  • Help maintain accurate tracking of opportunities, activities, and outcomes to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-4 years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) in business, marketing, communications, journalism, law, or related field.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and client service orientation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with marketing technologies and CRM systems.
  • Self motivated, detail oriented, and intellectually curious, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives forward.
