Our client is the largest organics-focused recycling and waste services platform in New England, operating at the forefront of food waste diversion and resource recovery. They partner with leading food & beverage manufacturers, grocery retailers, distributors, and industrial processors to convert waste streams into value.

With best-in-class operations, a rapidly expanding fleet, and vertically integrated infrastructure, they manage everything from palletized food and green waste to bulk liquid hauling and secure product destruction.

The business is growing at over 20% year-over-year and investing aggressively in fleet expansion, new facilities, and market share across the region. With strong operational leadership and administrative support already in place, they are now building a high-performance commercial team to match their scale and ambition.

This is a pivotal growth hire.

The Role

This is a true hunter role focused on generating new business across Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

You will inherit warm leads and house accounts, but success in this role will be driven by your ability to prospect, open doors, and close new contracts. This is a territory ownership position with real autonomy and real earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across food, beverage, retail, manufacturing, and industrial sectors
  • Own and develop your regional territory through cold outreach, in-person meetings, and site visits
  • Lead the sales cycle from first conversation through contract execution and operational handoff
  • Maintain disciplined CRM management and exceed activity and revenue targets
  • Build long-term client partnerships while representing the company with credibility and energy
What We’re Looking For
  • 5 years +of outside B2B sales experience in one of the following:
    • Waste, recycling, or organics services
  • Proven track record in new business development
  • Self-starter mentality with strong internal drive and resilience
  • Motivated by uncapped commission and performance-based rewards
  • Ability to commute to Boston one day per week
  • Comfortable in a high-accountability, performance-driven culture
  • Car allowance, phone, and laptop provided
  • Strong operational and administrative infrastructure to support your growth
  • Direct access to the C‑Suite
