We are seeking a highly organized Studio Manager to oversee front office operations and ensure that daily studio activities run smoothly, safely, and professionally.
Position OverviewThe Studio Manager is the on-site operational lead during busy after school hours. This role is hands‑on and highly visible, overseeing front desk operations, managing the lobby and parking lot, supporting students and families, and ensuring that all classes and programs run efficiently.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an active environment, enjoys working with children and families, and takes pride in keeping systems organized and operations running seamlessly.
Core Responsibilities Front Office & Daily Operations- Oversee daily front desk operations and supervise reception staff
- Serve as the primary in‑person point of contact for families
- Oversee student attendance and costume distribution
- Maintain accurate records and ensure systems are up to date
- Prepare and distribute studio communications and signage
- Resolve any real‑time issues quickly and professionally
- Monitor hallways, lobby areas, and classroom readiness
- Coordinate daily pick‑up and drop‑off, particularly during peak hours
- Ensure smooth transitions between classes
- Actively manage parking lot to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate clearly with families regarding expectations and procedures
- Provide professional, warm, and solution‑oriented support to families
- Address questions or concerns with discretion and care
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and positive studio environment
- Uphold studio policies consistently and clearly
- Monitor studio cleanliness and organization of common areas
- Coordinate basic maintenance needs and communicate with vendors as needed
- Order and manage office and studio supplies
- Support operational logistics for recitals, competitions, rehearsals, and special events
- Assist with ticketing, registration, and event coordination
- Help ensure smooth execution of all studio programming
- Preferred candidates will have previous experience in office management, front desk leadership, school administration, or customer service
- Experience working in a youth‑focused environment strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proprieties and deadlines
- Confident managing high‑traffic environments and real‑time problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, calm, and solution‑oriented demeanor
- Comfortable using scheduling software, email platforms, spreadsheets, and website tools
- Reliable, punctual, and physically present during peak studio hours
Compensation commensurate with experience. Paid time off and 401(k) eligibility available. Opportunity to grow into salaried position.
