About Servier

As a privately held organization, Servier is uniquely positioned to advance cutting-edge science, tackle underserved therapeutic areas and make patients the focus of every strategic decision.

Role Summary

The Director, Contracting Strategy and Administration is a strategic leadership role responsible for the design, financial modeling, and lifecycle management of Servier’s commercial and payer value propositions. Reporting to the Executive Director, U.S. Pricing and Contracting, you will act as the architect of our commercial framework, ensuring all contracts optimize patient access while protecting long-term Gross-to-Net (GTN) performance. You will bridge the gap between high-level value strategy and how it is operationalized by the teams managing government pricing and rebate administration.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the commercial contracting framework, including the design of discount tiers, rebate structures, and value-based or outcomes-based models for all segments (Commercial, Medicare Part D, PBMs, and IDNs)
  • Develop and pilot innovative contracting models, including value-based and outcomes-based agreements, to differentiate Servier in highly competitive Oncology and Rare Disease markets
  • Lead the design of commercial tactics that respond to federal policy shifts, specifically the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the evolving Maximum Fair Price (MFP) environment
  • Partner with Market Access Account Managers to provide real-time strategic guidance and negotiation support for national and regional payer accounts
  • Financial Impact and Deal Modeling
  • Lead the pre-deal modeling process, conducting rigorous performance analytics to evaluate contract ROI and potential pull-through effectiveness
  • Utilize predictive analytics to conduct impact analyses of proposed contract strategies on Government Pricing, specifically forecasting Best Price (BP) implications before contract execution
  • Partner with Finance/GTN teams to ensure proposed contract terms are accurately reflected in actual-to-accrual data and revenue forecasting
  • Conduct post-deal evaluations to measure the financial and volume-based success of executed agreements against original projections
  • Contract Lifecycle and Governance
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of contract operations, ensuring strategic intent is accurately translated into legal language and operationalized within the Contract Management System (CMS)
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance to draft and review contract language, minimizing operational ambiguity that could lead to rebate disputes
  • Direct the process for contract renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring seamless transitions across the product portfolio
  • Leadership and Governance
  • Present strategic deal recommendations to the U.S. Pricing Committee for approval
  • Serve as a key internal advisor on how federal policy changes, such as the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), necessitate shifts in commercial contracting tactics
  • Manage and/or mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of strategic agility and analytical excellence
Education and Required Skills
  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced financial degree preferred
  • Experience:
