Position: Summer Business Analyst 2027, 4 - 6 months (Advanced Degree)

D. Little is a global consultancy rooted in innovation since 1886, serving Fortune 1000 companies and public sector organizations. Offers will be made for one of our three offices:
Boston, New York, or San Francisco. Internship begins Summer 2027, typically 4–6 months. Monthly salary ranges from $4,000 to $8,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

As a Summer Business Analyst Intern (Advanced Degree), you will work on well‑defined sub‑tasks of consulting engagements under close support and guidance of your case manager.

  • Extract key messages from research in a clear and concise way.
  • Assist the team in building presentations and reports.
  • Provide input in client meetings regarding your own work.
  • Interact and collaborate with clients during workshops and interviews.
  • Work in an entrepreneurial, growth‑oriented environment with rapid exposure to senior management and mentoring.
  • Participate in interesting and diverse assignments rather than repetitive work.
  • Collaborate across global colleagues for training and learning.
Qualifications

Desired candidate profile:

  • Enrolled in an advanced degree program (Master’s, MBA, PhD, etc.) from a top‑ranked school.
  • Analytical skills with ability to think critically about complex processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism that positions you as a credible partner to clients.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills to function effectively in case teams.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing beyond casework to shape firm culture.
  • Rapid adaptability to diverse environments.
  • Previous internship or relevant experience in strategy consulting, business development, or related fields is a plus.
  • U.S.A. work authorization, at least OPT STEM.
