Associate Director, Corporate Strategy

Servier in the U.S. is a Boston-based, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company launched by Servier Group in 2018. As a privately held organization, Servier is uniquely positioned to advance cutting-edge science, tackle underserved therapeutic areas, and make patients the focus of every strategic decision.

Role Summary

The Associate Director, US Corporate Strategy reports directly to the Director, Head of US Corporate Strategy and is a high-impact member of the CSDO (Corporate Strategy, Development & Operations) leadership team. This role serves as a thought partner to senior leaders across Commercial, Medical, Finance, Insights & Analytics, and Development, helping translate strategy into action across the U.S. portfolio. This role is designed for a highly agile strategist who can rapidly build depth in Servier's disease areas, anticipate opportunities and risks in business performance, and synthesize complexity into clear, executive-ready insights.

The Associate Director will both lead independent work streams end-to-end and orchestrate cross-functional teams to drive growth, inform key decisions, and shape the future of Servier in the U.S.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Enterprise Impact

Support the end-to-end design, coordination, and continuous improvement of Servier Pharmaceuticals' U.S. strategic planning cycle and core enterprise deliverables

Rapidly build fluency across Servier's disease areas and portfolio priorities to ensure strategies are grounded in scientific, clinical, and commercial realities

Lead discrete work streams by owning problem framing, hypothesis development, workplan design, cross functional engagement, and final synthesis. Demonstrate strong strategic judgment by identifying growth opportunities, trade-offs, and risks to business performance, clearly surfacing implications for leadership decision-making

Strategic & Resourcing Insight

Pressure test forecasts and resourcing plans to ensure alignment with US priorities, vision and goals. Proactively identify risks, sensitivities, and inflection points in performance

Lead development of high impact executive presentations that distill rigorous analysis into focused recommendations and decision pathways

Generate opportunity assessments and business cases (e.g., ROI, NPV, breakeven analysis)

High Priority Strategic Projects

Lead and support cross functional strategic initiatives sponsored by the U.S. Leadership Team, often in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. Own projects end-to-end, including scoping, framing, analytics, storyline development, decision enablement, and implementation tracking. Leverage market, competitive, and internal data to generate insights; design and facilitate strategic workshops; and develop clear, actionable recommendations with well-articulated risks and assumptions

Continuously scan for and ideate on transformation and growth opportunities that can strengthen Servier's U.S. performance and long-term position

CSDO Team Leadership & Culture

Actively engage with CSDO colleagues to ensure the team operates with speed, clarity, and high standards of excellence. Model Servier's tenets by demonstrating curiosity, agility, accountability, and a bias toward action. Support team offsites, goal setting, and budget tracking. Be a visible contributor to a collaborative, transparent, and intellectually rigorous team culture
