- Generalist Consulting for Broad Industry Exposure
- Generalist consultants may work across all industries and capabilities at Oliver Wyman, acquiring a breadth of knowledge before focusing on a specific practice. Industries include Consumer, Telecom and Technology, Energy and Natural Resources, Banking & Financial Services, Health and Life Sciences, Performance Transportation, Private Capital, and Transportation and Advanced Industrials.
- Banking & Financial Services, Strategy & Risk
- Consultants advise banks, insurers, asset managers, market infrastructure providers, and regulators on critical decisions shaping financial services, capital, risk, regulation, and growth.
- From day one, you will gain a thorough understanding of financial institutions, customer and product strategies, balance sheets, capital, liquidity, risk models, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
- AI, Data, Analytics & Advanced Applications
- Design, prototype, and operationalize machine learning, generative AI, and advanced analytics solutions across diverse industries.
- Ideal for analytical thinkers who love experimentation and applying cutting‑edge technology to real‑world business problems.
- Requirements: technical or quantitative academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent experience; proficiency in at least one programming or data language (Python, SQL, R); strong quantitative and structured problem‑solving skills.
- Technology‑Driven Transformation and Change Implementation
- Lead high‑impact, tech‑enabled transformations, coordinating rollout sequencing, integrations, and sustainment across multi‑year engagements.
- Requirements: technical or quantitative academic background; understanding of software architecture, development life cycles, cloud and enterprise deployment patterns; aptitude for solving business problems with technology.
- Private Equity, Deals, Diligence & Post‑Transaction
- Partner with private equity investors across the deal lifecycle—from opportunity assessment and commercial due diligence to post‑transaction value creation—providing rigorous, insight‑driven analysis.
- Analyze markets, customers, and competitive dynamics.
- Conduct research and build quantitative analyses.
- Synthesize findings into clear, client‑ready recommendations.

Specific eligibility requirements:

- Undergraduate student (Class of 2027) completing a four‑year degree.
The applicable base pay for this role is $110,000. Base pay will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. The position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives and includes a competitive total rewards package such as health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) savings, and other retirement programs, as well as employee assistance programs.
