Financial Advisor / Consultant, Data Scientist, Financial Analyst
Ducker Carlisle is a boutique consulting and M&A advisory firm serving corporate and financial clients across global industry sectors such as motor vehicle, building & construction, and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Designing analyses using spreadsheets, database tools, statistical analysis, and process mapping to meet project goals
- Conducting analyses utilizing assumption testing and sensitivity analysis
- Gathering research by conducting interviews, searching literature or the Internet, and interpreting survey results
- Summarizing research findings
- Authoring client presentations and other deliverables
- Presenting findings to clients and senior consulting staff
- A bachelor’s degree from a top tier university
- 2-3 years of experience in strategy consulting
- Outstanding analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Advanced skills within Excel and Power Point
- Experience with analytical modeling, statistical analysis, optimization, and/or manipulation of large datasets
- Able to conduct analyses utilizing assumption testing and sensitivity analysis
- Professional demeanor
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Willingness to travel as travel is an integral part of this role
- Familiarity with programming languages Python, R, SQL, or statistical packages is preferred
- Pricing experience or experience managing revenue components such as discounts, promotions, rebates, loyalty programs is preferred
Estimated base salary range: $90,000 – $115,000 annually. Exact compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, and location. Consultants are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance.
LocationThis role can be based out of Boston, MA or Troy, MI.
Working ArrangementWe encourage all staff to work from a Ducker Carlisle office as often as is feasible; our hybrid schedule suggests that most local team members work in the office 3‑4 days per week when not traveling to clients.
