The Senior Director, Revenue Cycle Performance & Transformation serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle, translating strategic priorities into actionable, data-driven plans and ensuring disciplined execution across operations, analytics, and technology.

This leader oversees training, quality assurance, project management, informatics, and business intelligence, aligning these functions into an integrated performance system that drives operational and financial results. The Senior Director serves as the primary liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations and Information Technology, ensuring business needs are clearly defined and solutions deliver measurable impact.

This role will build and lead a Revenue Cycle Performance System that:

  • Translates strategy into a clear, executable roadmap
  • Converts data into driver-based insights and action
  • Aligns operations, technology, and analytics
  • Drives accountability for performance, productivity, and financial outcomes
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define short- and long-term revenue cycle strategies and translate priorities into an executable roadmap.
  • Continuously refine priorities based on performance and business needs.
Performance Management & KPI Governance
  • Establish KPI frameworks aligned with operational and financial performance.
  • Implement a disciplined performance management process with clear accountability.
Productivity & Operational Accountability
  • Define productivity expectations and performance measures.
  • Partner with leaders to address gaps and drive sustained improvement.
Financial Alignment & Planning
  • Align operational plans with budgets and financial targets.
  • Support financial planning and ensure initiatives have measurable impact.
Analytics & Insight
  • Lead the transition from descriptive reporting to actionable, driver-based analytics.
  • Develop executive dashboards and insights to support decision-making.
Operations & Technology Integration
  • Serve as the primary interface between operations and Information Technology.
  • Define business requirements and partner on solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.
Execution & Program Leadership
  • Lead project management functions, including governance, prioritization, and performance tracking.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and results.
Integrated Capability Leadership
  • Align training, quality assurance, analytics, and execution into a continuous improvement model.
  • Ensure changes are adopted and sustained.
Resource Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Assess capabilities and align resources with strategic priorities.
  • Determine when to build, buy, or redeploy resources.
Executive Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and force multiplier to the Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle.
  • Proactively identify issues, present recommendations, and drive clarity across complex challenges.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MHA or MBA preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, strategy, consulting, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success translating strategy into execution in complex, cross‑functional environments.
  • Experience leading at the intersection of operations, analytics, and technology.
  • Track record of developing performance management systems, KPI frameworks, and productivity models.
  • Experience defining business requirements and partnering with technology teams to deliver solutions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. Experience leading cross‑functional teams and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success driving measurable operational and financial improvement in highly regulated environments.
