Position Summary
Harbour Vest is a global private markets firm. The Enterprise Strategy Associate (Boston) will play a central role in charting the growth and development of the products and services we offer to our clients and partners. This role is directly involved in the firm’s expansion and is part of the Strategy, Innovation, and Execution function, which is responsible for building the firm into new areas.

• This position will be a hybrid work arrangement.
• You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval.
- Help define and refine Harbour Vest’s overall product strategy, including the development of new funds and the review of existing funds.
- Identify and integrate internal and external sources of insight as inputs into the product planning process.
- Assess the current and potential attractiveness of potential new funds.
- Map the competitive landscape for such products.
- Manage the central repository of product ideas.
- Prioritize which products to consider in more detail.
- Help assess the positioning of existing funds and propose modifications as appropriate.
- Other responsibilities as required.
- Restlessly curious, including about the fast‑changing evolution of the private equity and broader private markets space.
- Entrepreneurial, strategic, creative, and flexible, with experience developing and launching new initiatives, products, or solutions.
- Analytically rigorous, with strong attention to detail and ability to formulate recommendations based on analysis.
- Excellent at communicating complex ideas in simple terms, in writing and in person.
- Experienced in working in team environments and cross‑functional groups.
- Organized and effective in independently driving initiatives, with the willingness and capability to assume responsibility and ownership of outcomes.
- Focused on having significant impact over both short and long time horizons.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in private equity or asset management, investment product management, investment research, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated excellence in analytical reasoning, creativity, and written communications in team‑based settings.
- Familiarity with and interest in the private equity or broader private markets landscape.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Experience 2–5 years in professional services (hybrid).
Base Salary Range: $ – $ (USD). This salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. The role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. Total compensation may also include eligibility for long‑term reward programs and a comprehensive rewards package, including retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs.
