OpportunityEY-Parthenon’s unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions and corporate finance delivers real-world value. Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub‑service line, the Value Creation practice helps private equity firms and corporate companies unlock value through targeted operational improvements and accelerated cash generation.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Director in the Strategy and Execution Value Creation practice, you will:
- Lead and execute operational focused projects across the entire transaction lifecycle, including operational due diligence, buy‑side carve‑out and integration planning, post‑acquisition 100‑day support, performance improvement, and exit readiness.
- Manage project teams comprising colleagues from multiple EY‑Parthenon sub‑service lines.
- Work with CEOs, Boards, private equity, and government stakeholders to shape strategy and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Drive client engagements and contribute to practice development initiatives.
- Project Management – lead and manage cross‑functional teams.
- Business and Commercially Driven – make data‑driven decisions to drive value for clients.
- Business Development – conduct client meetings, presentations and support practice growth.
- People Development – coach and mentor junior team members.
- Relationship Building – establish trusted advisor relationships with senior clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree with approx. 3 years of experience.
- Experience in strategy and operations management consulting.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and modeling skills.
- Hands‑on experience in operational due diligence, transformation and performance improvement.
- Experience in business integrations, divestitures or carve‑outs, with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Knowledge of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
- Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams in complex environments.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship‑building abilities.
- Residence within commuting distance of the office location.
- Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours as needed.
- Proven excellence in M&A transactions.
- Experience leading operational improvement programs in a corporate setting.
- Background in a large professional services organization.
- MBA preferred.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and drive creative solutions.
- Familiarity with firm‑approved AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot.

What We Offer- Competitive base salary ranging from $205,000 to $235,000, plus performance‑based compensation and benefits.
