Role Overview
As a Sustainability Consultant, you’ll deliver sustainability insights and solutions across multiple sectors, managing distinct project work streams, owning high-quality deliverables, and shaping actionable strategies in collaboration with project managers, experts, and client stakeholders.
Collaborate with experienced consultants and junior colleagues to address a broad range of sustainability needs, including corporate and product foot printing, nature (biodiversity, water), climate strategy & risk, land & agriculture, ESG reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications- Eager to apply analytical or business skills to align businesses with planetary boundaries.
- 2-5+ years of work experience relevant to the role, ideally with exposure to sustainability, consulting, or analytics.
- Comfortable with data analysis, modelling, and communicating complex ideas clearly.
- Critical thinker with sound judgment to generate insights for real‑world challenges.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- Intellectually curious, science‑based mindset, motivated to learn and grow.
- Willing to step out of comfort zone and work on diverse projects.
- Exploring long‑term career path, whether deepening expertise or moving into client‑facing roles.
- Collaboration skills and teamwork orientation.
- Comfortable using generative AI tools while maintaining a critical mindset.
- Fluent English communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of corporate sustainability topics: land & agriculture, carbon foot printing, nature, materiality, sustainable supply chains, stakeholder management, ESG reporting & disclosure.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks such as GHG Protocol and Science‑Based Targets.
- Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Foot printing, and relevant software.
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, ArcGIS) and motivation to develop them.
- Initial experience in industries where Quantis’ major clients operate.

Boston, New York, Chicago, or Denver (Hybrid scheme; occasional client‑site work and travel) - Start date:
As soon as possible - Collaboration via web‑conference with other Quantis branches
- Occasional travel required
- Salary range: $99,000–$109,500
