The Senior Principal, Commercial Partnerships at Sim Corp is responsible for driving the development and management of strategic partnerships that align with Sim Corp's business objectives and expand its market presence in the Americas. With typically 12-15 years of experience in business development, partnership management, and strategic marketing, this role involves identifying new partnership opportunities, cultivating relationships, and leading negotiations to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
The Senior Principal, Commercial Partnerships ensures that these partnerships contribute to Sim Corp's growth and overall success, while also collaborating closely with senior leadership and key internal teams to drive alignment across the organization.
Lead the development and execution of Sim Corp's Americas strategic partnership strategy, aligning with organizational goals and market expansion objectives
Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities in alignment with Sim Corp's growth areas, industry trends, and customer needs
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
Oversee the negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements, ensuring that terms and conditions support Sim Corp's strategic and financial goals
Collaborate with senior leadership, sales, and marketing teams to integrate strategic partnerships into go-to-market strategies and business development plans
Manage cross-functional teams to drive partnership initiatives, including marketing, product, legal, and customer success teams
Track and measure the performance of partnerships, providing regular updates and recommendations for optimization to senior leadership
Champion the voice of the partner within Sim Corp, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners
Identify and manage potential risks within partnerships, working proactively to resolve any issues and ensure long-term success
Collaborate closely with a team of commercial partnership managers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and identifying best practices
Strategic partnership leadership and executive relationship management
Strong commercial judgment and negotiation capability
Ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
Experience translating partner capabilities into go-to-market opportunities
Cross-functional leadership across Sales, Marketing, Product, PS, Legal, and Customer Success
Outcome orientation, with the ability to measure and optimize partnership performance
High ownership, resilience, and ability to operate independently in a senior regional role
