Senior Business and Financial Operations Specialist

The Senior Business and Financial Operations Specialist will configure, implement, maintain, and customize the systems that store and process financial data. He/She will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to determine primary needs and goals, and create solutions to meet those objectives. He/She will configure systems, perform data migration, oversee the implementation of workflow processes, assist with user access and permissions, and perform ongoing troubleshooting.

He/She will prepare reports, and create a variety of other materials including training documentation and department procedures.

• Assist with managing vendor relationships including scheduling, planning, and monitoring consumer research projects.
• Provide analysis of prior year open documents by research available data to identify discrepancies and coordinate the resolution.
• Conduct review of automated financial systems to identify and recommend corrections for financial errors.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of tasks, responding to changes in direction and priorities and accepting new challenges, responsibilities and assignments.
• Learn and develop expertise of various data sources as needed to support brands, product, or category deep-dives.
• Help conduct consumer research to identify actionable insights and unmet consumer needs that inform the basis for marketing activations and new product offerings.
• Identify and provide insights and recommendations on industry and consumer trends and competitive activities to potentially impact company strategy and business decisions.

• Bachelor's Degree in business, business administration, computer science or information technology or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SQL, Essbase, SSRS, SOX, SQL Server, R Language, Oracle ERP, and Oracle ERP Cloud software and systems.
• Fluent in financial applications, spreadsheets and statistics.
• A professional and leader at all times.
• Sound critical thinking and attention to details.
• Prior consulting experience.
