Role Summary

The Head of U.S. Pricing and Contracting is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for the end‑to‑end strategic and operational execution of the company’s U.S. commercial value proposition. You will architect innovative pricing strategies, lead contract operations, navigate a complex regulatory environment, and oversee the gross to net process. You will act as lead for the organizations’ Pricing Committee to maximize patient access and net revenue.

This role serves as the critical link between Market Access, Finance, and Legal, ensuring that our contracting and government reporting remains competitive, compliant, and optimized for long‑term growth in an evolving multimodal payer landscape.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Strategic Pricing and Contract Strategy
  • Design and execute short‑term and long‑term pricing strategies, including Wholesale Acquisition Cost (WAC) setting and discount corridors that align with the IRA’s negotiated Maximum Fair Price (MFP) environment, Most Favored Nation, and evolving market landscape
  • Develop innovative contracting models, such as value‑based or outcomes‑based agreements, analyzing pre deal assumptions to secure optimal positioning on payer and PBM formularies
  • Lead performance analytics to evaluate pull‑through effectiveness and contract ROI, providing actionable insights to the sales and trade distribution teams
  • Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of contract operations for both commercial and government segments, including contract implementation, data interfaces, validation of rebate claims, contract adherence, management of membership/class‑of‑trade controls, and dispute management
  • Maintain documentation supporting operational excellence, government reporting, financial reporting and legal/compliance requirements
  • Lead initiatives pertaining to changes in government reporting, programs, or policy and regulatory changes. Ensure stakeholder communications and financial impact modeling. Partner with Legal for final implementation of changes. Ensure 100% compliance in government price reporting, including the calculation and submission of AMP, Best Price, ASP, FAMP, NFAMP, FCP, ANFAMP, MFP and 340B ceiling prices to federal agencies
  • Maintain rigorous oversight of transparency reporting and state‑level price increase notifications to ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Lead responses to Government policies and regulatory requests or changes in collaboration with Legal, Policy, Market Access, Finance, and Executive Team
  • Establish a cross‑functional collaboration across teams in the organization that are considered in government reporting; such as Trade Operations, Patient Services, Accounts Receivable, Data Acquisition, Customer Collaborations
  • Partner with Finance and Brand teams to develop and refine sophisticated GTN models that support accurate reporting and forecasting of discount rates across the product portfolio
  • Oversee the accrual process for all rebates and chargebacks, ensuring financial transparency and mitigating risks associated with revenue leakage
  • Conduct quarterly GTN variance analyses to inform senior leadership of the financial impacts of contracting shifts and market dynamics
  • Lead communications/assumptions/modeling in partnership with Finance and Market Access to inform external market events (commercial or governmental) that could impact current and future financials
  • Leadership and Governance
  • Lead, mentor, and build a high‑performing team of pricing and contracting professionals, fostering a culture of compliance and strategic agility
  • Own and chair the U.S. Organizational Pricing Committee, facilitating cross‑functional consensus on high‑stakes pricing and contracting decisions
