Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world. Founded in 2012, we’re revolutionizing the real estate industry with our end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to seller and buyer clients.

About This Role

Compass is building the first modern end-to-end real estate platform by integrating agents, buyers, and sellers through technology. The Search and Listings team’s mission is to envision, build, and deploy the next-generation end-to-end platform for real estate listing ingestion, storage, and search at massive scale to provide leverage for Compass.

We're looking for an experienced, results-oriented Senior Product Manager to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will report directly to me and own "Inventory" within the Search and Listings organization. You will take charge of our Reverse Prospecting, Make Me Sell, Buyer Demand, and Network products. You will utilize an agile approach, establishing monthly syncs with our leadership team to prioritize new initiatives based on changing market dynamics.

Throughout your work, your core focus will be prioritizing Compass inventory, including our Private Exclusive and Coming Soon programs.

At Compass You Will:
  • Deliver key customer-facing enhancements that improve agent workflows.
  • Drive the roadmap and prioritization of innovative and engaging products and features.
  • Lead the "Inventory" domain (Reverse Prospecting, Make Me Sell, Buyer Demand, and Network) and focus on prioritizing Compass inventory like the Private Exclusive and Coming Soon programs.
  • Implement an agile approach through monthly leadership syncs to ensure we continuously adapt to shifting market dynamics.
  • Own and manage the software development lifecycle for Compass products from concept and user research through development, launch, and adoption.
  • Deliver and maintain your features, including the monitoring of key metrics associated with their performance, to discern their effectiveness and identify opportunities to create additional value for our agents and their clients.
  • Help define our high-level product direction by working directly with our agents, consumers, and internal stakeholders, and crafting solutions to the specific challenges they face.
What We Look For:
  • 5-9 years experience in progressive product management roles, building and launching successful products and features.
  • Ability to effectively gather and prioritize requirements from disparate sources, going beyond user requests to get to key needs, and rationalize them across stakeholder differences.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization.
  • An ability to lead by influencing others, without the need to project formal authority, especially in cross-functional and executive settings.
  • Comfort with collaborating with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • B.S. or similar in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics) is strongly preferred.

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $137,000 - $152,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.

Perks that You Need to Know About:

Participation in our incentive programs (which may include eligible cash, equity, or commissions). Plus paid vacation, holidays, sick time, parental leave, and recharge leave; medical, tele-health, dental and vision benefits; 401(k) plan; flexible spending accounts (FSAs); commuter program; life and disability insurance;
