Position Overview
Senior Associate in the Private Markets IR Operations team, reporting to the Director of IR Operations, Timberland and Agriculture. Responsible for supporting the IR function and executing fundraising initiatives across global Timberland and Agriculture strategies. Based in Boston or Chicago, the role requires an individual who can thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute visibility to top‑tier investment teams in a fast‑paced capital raising environment.
Responsibilities- Leadership & Timberland & Agriculture Strategy Expertise: Provide day‑to‑day support within the IR Operations team; foster collaboration; reinforce best practices; ensure rigorous execution across concurrent fundraising and client deliverables. Apply deep knowledge of private Timberland and Agriculture strategies (Core & Core‑Plus) to support positioning, investor engagement, RFP/RFI submissions, competitive analysis, performance summaries, and real‑time diligence discussions.
- Marketing Content Creation & Management: Lead and own the end‑to‑end development and maintenance of core marketing and client‑facing materials such as pitchbooks, factsheets, case studies, track‑record narratives, and meeting presentations with a high bar for accuracy, consistency and timeliness.
- Due Diligence Materials & Investor Information Requests: Partner with Proposal Services to manage completion of Timberland and Agriculture RFPs, RFIs & DDQs; ensure inputs are well‑sourced, compliant and consistently branded; respond to recurring and ad‑hoc investor requests; maintain virtual data rooms with Distribution & IR.
- Project Management & Cross‑Functional Coordination: Serve as project manager across Investments, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Product, Risk, Sustainability and other functional partners to ensure timely delivery, thorough reviews and quality control of all investor materials and diligence outputs. Identify opportunities to improve scalability and execution (templates, content libraries, intake workflows, review checklists).
- Content Governance & Reporting: Contribute to quarterly fund/client reporting and support internal reporting requests for senior leadership, providing clear, reliable updates on fundraising activity, capital deployment, performance, deliverables and investor engagement.
Required Experience: 5+ years overall experience, including sales‑support or client‑centric role, with direct timberland or agriculture experience; agriculture experience preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Seismic, Salesforce and Qvidian is a plus.
Salary Range: $73,350.00 – $ USD (hybrid working arrangement, incentive potential). All amounts vary by location and role.
