Senior Consultant – Investment Operations Transformation
The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record in investment operations as well as experience as a project lead or consultant providing cost-effective, high quality and customer-centric solutions. Candidate must be a highly collaborative self-starter who can support execution of the following types of engagements from inception to successful conclusion:
- Outsourcing Selection / Implementation or Conversion
- Technology Selection and Implementation
- Operating Model Development / Redesign
- Oversight Model Development
- Testing Strategy (QA, UAT, Model Office)
- M&A analysis
- Data Analysis, Readiness or Governance
Responsibilities:
- Serve as project lead or senior consultant for designated engagements
- Evaluate data/process flows, technologies or operating models and prepare recommendations to deliver business value based on the unique drivers of the client engagement
- Facilitate workshops with clients and vendors to capture project documentation and assess recommendations as needed
- Develop high quality client-ready project deliverables
- Actively pursue opportunities to further expand domain knowledge, participate in industry conferences, and publish thought leadership
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of Asset Management experience working across Front / Middle / Back Office
- Possess strong domain knowledge across key asset management functions: (Trade Execution, Trade Management Support, Portfolio Analytics, Portfolio Accounting, Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Compliance, Performance, Client Reporting, and Custody)
- Working knowledge of leading technology platforms supporting the front/middle/back office (e.g., OMS, Portfolio Accounting, Fund Administration, Performance, Client Reporting, etc)
- Experience working with leading middle/back office service provider solutions
- Proven ability to operate successfully in a collaborative organizational structure
- Highly effective formal writing and presentation skills
- Highly skilled in Microsoft suite – MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Master’s degree strongly preferred;
Bachelor’s degree required
