Training Associate
We are looking for a Training Associate to take Blank Street's barista and shift lead training to the next level. In this role, you’ll support new team members from onboarding through accreditation, coach them in‑store, and partner with Operations to build confident, capable teams that deliver exceptional coffee and hospitality.
Responsibilities- Oversee, validate, and track each barista’s journey through the new hire training program, and work with ops partners to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Support the new hire training program by assisting with in‑store training, leading large group trainings at the lab, and facilitating final barilla assessments.
- Provide area training support as needed, including shift lead training certifications, new product launch support, and other key initiatives.
- Drive stores toward higher product quality standards by conducting quarterly assessments for all Boston stores and assist in developing actionable reporting to implement improvements.
- Possess in‑depth knowledge of all products and recipes, enabling maintenance of recipe and quality adherence in the market.
- Develop and foster cross‑functional relationships to build effective reporting tools that provide insight into store performance and drive results.
- Find creative ways to build and foster a learning culture, keeping teams motivated, engaged, and excited to learn.
- Be an inspirational leader full of coffee knowledge and passion for the craft, tailoring training approaches to individuals.
- Support the creation and implementation of cross‑functional projects that ensure a 5‑star barista experience.
- Support the training and development of future Training Coordinators on your team.

- 2+ years barista and training experience
- Master of time management and prioritization
- Expert in milk steaming with precise textures for lattes, flat whites, and cappuccinos
- Consistently pours clean hearts, tulips, and rosettas with intentional technique
This is a full‑time role (50 hours per week, 5 days a week) and requires flexibility to work outside store operating hours, including weekends, as necessary.
Benefits- $75,000 – $85,000 annual base salary

Details will be discussed during the interview process. Blank Street may pay more or less than the posted range based on factors such as relevant experience and skills, qualifications and location, among others. This range may be modified in the future.
