About the Opportunity

A large, mission-driven higher education institution is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate multiple strategic initiatives across academic and administrative departments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities with confidence, and is skilled at bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex projects.

The successful candidate is highly organized, an exceptional communicator, and equally comfortable working with frontline teams and senior leadership. They know how to influence without authority, build trust quickly, and tailor communication styles to effectively engage executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through execution and completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, roadmaps, and milestones that align with organizational priorities.
  • Create and maintain clear project documentation, including meeting notes, action items, status reports, risk logs, and executive updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate meetings, establish accountability, and proactively remove obstacles that may impact delivery.
  • Translate complex initiatives into actionable work streams with measurable outcomes.
  • Prepare polished presentations and materials for executive leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree required;
    Master s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, consulting, operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong experience creating project roadmaps, timelines, governance documentation, and executive-level reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across teams.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives and adapting communication to different leadership styles.
