Publication Manager

Due to continued growth and increasing demand from both new and existing clients, we are looking for an experienced publications professional to join our Medical Communications team as a Publication Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing business. As one of our senior publications specialists in the US, you will help shape projects, build lasting client partnerships, contribute to business growth, and play a key role in the continued expansion of our Medical Communications offering.

As a Publication Manager, you will lead the delivery of publication and medical communications projects from planning through to completion. You will provide strategic guidance to clients, manage project teams, oversee timelines and quality, and ensure deliverables are completed to an exceptional standard. Alongside project leadership, you will contribute to scientific writing, review colleagues' work, provide mentorship and feedback, and support business development activities, including proposal writing, pitching for new work, and identifying opportunities to expand our client relationships.

You will be based in our Boston office, established in 2020, or our New York City office, established in 2025. Joining our growing US team offers the unique opportunity to help shape the future of our business in the region, while benefiting from the support, expertise, and proven success of our established teams across the UK and Asia. You will work closely with experienced leaders and colleagues across our global business and will have access to excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.

At Costello Medical we think that the road to success is through investing in and developing our talent. Because of that philosophy, we believe that our environment is the perfect place to grow your career, and here are a few reasons why:

  • We are invested in our culture:
We make it a priority to create an energetic, fun and supportive work environment while still delivering the highest standard of work to our clients and making a positive impact. As a result, we achieved our B Corp certification in 2022 and also take a variety of pro bono projects
  • The varied responsibilities:
You will have the unique opportunity to continue to develop your scientific writing and business development expertise, whilst using your communication skills to build strong and long-lasting client relationships
  • Join us early in our US venture:
Our US operations are relatively new and growing quickly, presenting unique opportunities for professional growth. We are onboarding multiple new hires across various roles every month, offering a dynamic and evolving work environment. This is the perfect time to join and contribute to shaping the future of our operations
  • Our range of expertise:
Whilst you will be primarily working on publications projects, you may also have the opportunity to work on projects for our different service offerings, including Medical Affairs, Value and Access, Rare Diseases and Evidence Development, collaborating with colleagues in a range of positions and specialisms
