The TeamA&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice works with middle‑market and large‑cap private equity firms to improve operating results at portfolio companies. Our professionals focus on manufacturing operations, supply chain, procurement, SG&A, and sales force effectiveness. They analyze operations, identify risks, and quantify EBITDA improvement opportunities for buyers and sellers.
How You Will Contribute- Lead manufacturing and supply‑chain engagements that deliver operational and financial performance improvements for private‑equity‑owned businesses. This includes implementing factory footprint optimization, make‑vs‑buy strategies, pre‑acquisition due diligence, and other manufacturing turn‑around initiatives.
- Drive business growth by delivering high‑quality client engagements, leveraging senior relationships, and collaborating with the global A&M PEPI team and other service lines to meet client needs.
- Advise private‑equity firms to ensure portfolio companies have credible performance‑improvement programs and the capability to execute the required financial results across various sectors.
Previous advisory experience from a top‑tier strategy firm, leading specialist, niche advisory firm, or Big‑4 consultancy is required.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with a successful blend of manufacturing operation and commercial skills, ideally with networks across the private‑equity community.
- Effective communication skills to engage with leadership teams in high‑pressure situations, building rapport and lasting relationships.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate cost‑reduction and revenue‑enhancement opportunities, and to quality‑check financial and operational models.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams, multiple stakeholders, and delivering executable solutions.
- Integrity and a commitment to A&M values, building confidence and leading by example.
- Willingness to travel regularly, up to 80% of the time.

The salary range is $175,000–$250,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus program.
