Role Overview
The Luxembourg Fund Monitoring Analyst is the primary liaison for MIL Boston, MIL Europe, and the Transfer Agent on all operational and service‑related issues. The analyst follows established procedures to communicate with dealers, bankers, wholesalers, and sales desk representatives to identify and address service issues, making recommendations for processing and issue resolution. The role also involves advising internal departments, overseeing Transfer Agent activities, and providing operational support to MFS business areas.
Responsibilities- Provide operational support for MFS business areas, including global sales, client services, and wholesalers (e.g., offices in LATAM, London, Italy, and various remote locations) by working directly with the Transfer Agent to resolve complex problems.
- Attend and chair calls with the Transfer Agent to review SLA’s and to escape/escalate issues.
- Act as a point of contact with internal business departments on projects and enhancements.
- Recommend process improvements, efficiencies, and issue resolution strategies.
- Interact internally and with vendors to develop, update, and implement procedural enhancements.
- Ensure team controls are completed and adhered to.
- Communicate and prepare ad hoc and operational reporting for management and other business areas, including MIL, Legal, and various MFS groups.
- Manage escalations from various departments within MIL (including global offices in London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo).
- Manage client complaints and ensure resolution in accordance with regulations and policy.
- Coordinate feedback and initiate updates to operating memorandums and service agreements.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Understanding of Transfer Agent policies and procedures.
- Understanding of compliance rules and regulations in Luxembourg and Latin America.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of two to three years of operations experience and demonstrated ability to coordinate work with internal and external stakeholders.
Base Salary Range: $55,500.00 – $80,500.00. The position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus and includes additional incentive compensation based on both individual and company performance.
