INVESTORRELATIONS TEAM
The Investor Relations team comprises more than 100 professionals focused on business development, client service, diligence, and marketing. The team is responsible for raising new funds and accounts, supporting existing investors, collateral production, and reporting across all of the firm’s strategies.
POSITION OVERVIEWThe IR Marketing Associate will be based in Bain Capital’s Boston headquarters. This individual’s primary responsibilities will be to support the Investor Relations team in communications, marketing, and events, and to serve as the IR team’s expert on Salesforce and Swoogo.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitor the IR inbox and provide responses to emails as required.
- Generate mailing lists and coordinate the sending of launch and fund update letters and topical research.
- Work with Coverage Officers and Sales Associates to create fund launch lists and save‑the‑date/event invitation lists.
- Use Swoogo to create event websites, send invitations, and distribute fund launch letters and periodic updates.
- Lead coordination of fund webinars including scheduling, RSVP monitoring, set‑up and release of recordings to LPs.
- Help plan Annual Investor Meetings by assisting with meeting invitations, managing internal and LP RSVPs, name badge preparation, hotel reservation queries, and event app implementation.
- Coordinate Diligence Days and provide onsite event‑management assistance.
- Assist with materials preparation including custom investor agendas.
- Coordinate logistics for Limited Partner Advisory Board meetings and special events, and track LP Advisory Board votes.
- Maintain Advisory Board member listings and contacts.
- Monitor and grant access to fundraising diligence sites.
- Update contact information in Salesforce and reconcile the CRM system.
- Perform ad‑hoc operations work and support international teams across time zones.
- Maintain documentation and procedures to keep them current.
- Assist with facilitation of Deal Announcements.
- Bachelor’s degree and project management experience.
- 1-2+ years of experience in an administrative or department‑coordinator role, preferably within a financial services firm.
- Experience with Salesforce and Swoogo preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, and ability to handle large data sets.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Detail‑oriented, highly‑organized, self‑starter with a team‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently on long‑term projects.
- Ability to identify key areas of improvement in internal and external processes and implement updated procedures to streamline workflows and investor experience.
Expected annual base salary: $70,000 – $80,000. The actual base salary will depend on role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual impact, team and firm performance.
