Essential Job Functions Strategic Leadership & Practice Growth- Provide senior leadership to strengthen and expand Tetra Tech's air quality and sustainability practice.
- Develop and execute business strategies, market positioning plans, and growth initiatives.
- Integrate air quality services across Tetra Tech's global operations and client base.
- Identify cross-disciplinary opportunities by leveraging Tetra Tech's full range of services.
- Serve as Senior Account Lead for major strategic clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients across industrial, energy, financial, and private equity sectors.
- Lead opportunity capture efforts, including RFP strategy, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Support the Key Account Management Program to grow account value and market share.
- Represent Tetra Tech at industry events, conferences, and sustainability forums.
- Lead and oversee air quality advisory and permitting projects, including PSD and Title V permitting.
- Provide technical guidance for complex, multidisciplinary assignments.
- Ensure projects meet quality, financial, and performance expectations.
- Support clients with regulatory strategies and compliance solutions.
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of air quality and sustainability professionals.
- Support recruitment and development of key technical talent.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively to improve team growth and operational efficiency.
- Promote collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Follow internal procedures, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.
- Work safely at all times and report health and safety concerns or incidents.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in air quality and sustainability, preferably within the energy sector.
- Strong expertise in PSD and Title V air permitting.
- Experience with industrial air quality compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Solid understanding of market trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Proven ability to develop business opportunities and lead capture strategies.
- Experience in program leadership, operational management, client account growth, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
- Demonstrated success managing project and group financial performance.
- Established industry network and strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean, unrestricted driving record.
- Flexible work location with regular travel for client engagement and internal collaboration.
- Participation in industry events, client meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
