DescriptionLiberty Mutual is undertaking a multi-year transformation through the Frontier program to simplify and modernize how business and technology teams plan, prioritize, and deliver work.
The Frontier Integrated Solutions (FIS) Enablement team exists to build and continuously improve the operating system beneath Frontier delivery. We create the structures, insights, and capabilities that enable leaders to understand what work is underway, how ready it is, what risks exist, where capacity is constrained, and how decisions affect future delivery outcomes.
Our mission is simple: Build the systems that make the work possible and equip leaders with decision-ready insight.
** This position may have in-office requirements dependent upon candidate location.**
Role Overview
We are seeking a Portfolio Analytics & Insights professional to serve as the insight engine behind Frontier's evolving operating model.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, portfolio management, AI enablement, and operational transformation. You will be responsible for converting complex data from across Frontier into trusted, actionable insights that help leadership make better decisions faster.
You will lead the development of scalable analytical capabilities spanning portfolio health, taxonomy-driven reporting, dependency management in partnership with the Operations stakeholders, value realization, AI-enabled planning, and workforce planning in partnership with the Resourcing Lead. This role will also help shape how Frontier measures progress, identifies risk, prioritizes investment, and scales across multiple lines of business.
Success requires equal parts strategic thinking, analytical rigor, systems thinking, and influence. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity, connecting disparate data sources into coherent narratives, and building capabilities that endure beyond any one report, dashboard, or planning cycle. This role is responsible not only for producing insights but also for creating durable systems that continuously generate them.
What You'll Do
Portfolio Insights & Executive Decision Support
- Build and continuously evolve Frontier's portfolio-level analytics capabilities.
- Translate delivery, planning, dependency, and staffing data into actionable executive insights.
- Create executive-ready reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and narratives that support prioritization and decision-making.
- Identify emerging risks, trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities across business and technology portfolios.
- Establish and maintain KPIs tied to business outcomes and portfolio health.
- Enable leadership to understand not only what is happening, but why it is happening and what actions should be taken next.
Analytics Strategy & Capability Development
- Develop and manage a long-term, line-of-business-agnostic analytics roadmap that supports Frontier's expanding operating model.
- Establish trusted sources of truth across planning, delivery, dependency, and workforce data in partnership with the Resourcing Lead.
- Advance analytics capabilities from descriptive reporting toward predictive insights and scenario modeling.
- Ensure analytics capabilities remain aligned with leadership priorities and evolving program needs, including release versions and lines of business.
- Develop solutions that improve requirements velocity and reduce manual effort.
- Establish repeatable processes that increase trust, transparency, and accountability.
End-to-End Traceability & Dependency Intelligence
- Ensure work can be consistently measured and analyzed across domains, portfolios, and planning horizons.
- Develop analytical approaches that make dependencies visible, measurable, and actionable.
- Identify structural data quality issues and recommend solutions that improve trust in reporting.
- Generate insights that inform staffing, investment, and planning decisions before constraints affect delivery and ensure those insights support short- and long-term workforce planning.
- Build capabilities that scale with Frontier's growth across lines of business, releases, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive adoption of insight-driven decision-making practices across Frontier and partner organizations.
- Ensure AI-enabled capabilities are grounded in trusted data, governance standards, and measurable business outcomes in partnership with Operations stakeholders.
AI Enablement & Advanced Analytics
- Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to enhance reporting, forecasting, planning, and insight generation.
- Advance AI-enabled planning capabilities, including pre-development…
