Position Summary
As a Senior Consultant at Putnam you will help lead and manage teams of Associates & Life Sciences Consultants to complete projects. Working with Managers and Partners you will:
- Interact with clients to understand problems, and develop and refine hypotheses to test
- Structure complex strategic and analytical problems that constitute the core of the team’s work
- Lead the daily operations of the team in executing and synthesizing analyses into key findings and actionable recommendation and participate in delivering these recommendations to our clients

Our offices are located in the vibrant cities of Boston’s Back Bay (HQ), San Francisco’s Union Square, New York City, and globally in London.
Much of our work is conducted at our offices, although direct interaction with clients necessitates a reasonable level of travel to client sites.
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate for the Senior Consultant position will:
- Have demonstrated excellence during both her / his academic career (MBA or post-graduate degree is preferred but not required). Minimum degree required is a Bachelors
- Previous employment experiences (5+ years’ work experience) with other top-tier consulting firms or within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industries.
- Proven analytic abilities, presentation skills,
- Project and People Team management experience and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
- A working knowledge of the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is also a prerequisite.
