Job Overview
A law firm seeks junior to senior-level associates with expertise in quantum computing to join their Electrical & Computer Technologies group in Boston, Massachusetts;
New York, New York; or Washington, D.C.
- Collaborate with clients and inventors throughout the patent process.
- Prepare, file, and prosecute U.S. patent applications for quantum computing technologies.
- Draft responses to office actions and make strategic patent filing decisions.
- Conduct freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability analyses.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
- Knowledge of quantum computing, preferably photonic quantum computing and quantum error correction.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the USPTO.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective team collaboration.
