The Manager, Workforce Strategy & Planning
The Manager, Workforce Strategy & Planning serves as the enterprise integrator for workforce strategy, connecting client demand, workforce supply, operational readiness, and business strategy into one coordinated operating model that enables successful execution orting into Operations, this role serves as the central coordination point across Operations, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Finance, and executive leadership to ensure workforce strategy, hiring, training, staffing, and client demand remain synchronized throughout the workforce lifecycle.
This role sits at the intersection of client demand, workforce supply, operational execution, and business strategy. Success requires balancing competing priorities, influencing cross-functional leaders, and ensuring every workforce decision supports both client commitments and business objectives. More than a workforce planner, you will serve as the operational quarterback for the business, connecting people, processes, data, and decisions across multiple functions to ensure the right talent is available at the right time, with the right skills, to meet evolving client needs.
You will anticipate workforce risks before they impact operations, guide executive decision-making through data-driven insights, and orchestrate the many moving parts required to successfully support a large, seasonal workforce. Because this is a newly established capability, you will have the unique opportunity to build JDA's enterprise workforce planning function from the ground up. You will design forecasting methodologies, governance, operating rhythms, executive reporting, dashboards, and planning frameworks that become the foundation for how the organization plans, deploys, and optimizes its workforce.
This role also serves as JDA's strategic workforce planning advisor to enterprise clients, translating evolving workforce demand into executable staffing strategies while providing proactive insights, scenario planning, and recommendations that support operational success. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable presenting workforce scenarios to executive leadership, advising enterprise clients, analyzing complex data, and bringing together cross-functional teams to solve operational challenges.
