Dewberry is currently seeking a full-time
Pursuit/Proposal Manager
to support our Federal and Northeast Marketing team. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of AEC marketing experience with specific emphasis on federal or equally complex proposals preferred. The Pursuit/Proposal Managerdevelops proposals and statements of qualifications, prepares teams for shortlist interviews, and manages quality control for the work of technical, proposal, and graphics staff assigned to a pursuit by Dewberry and partner firms, delivering compliant, compelling marketing materials.
This is ahybridpositionwith a minimum of three days intheoffice.
Preferred candidate wouldbe in Boston, MA.
This position works alongside a skilled team of marketers, graphic designers, communication professionals, and client managers and project managers at large, all of whom collaborate to achieve success, leverage strengths, and support each other’s growth within Dewberry. The ideal candidate understands deadline-driven work, has a high level of attention to detail, and is a self-starter who can work both independently and within a team environment.
The job entails working on multiple concurrent assignments, with overlapping schedules.

- Responsible for full life cycle of the proposal preparation process for technical proposals; RFIs, sources sought notices, and qualification packages; and oral presentations/interviews.
- Work in tandem with Client Managers, Project Managers, and subject matter experts to determine forward action decisions, pursuit win strategies, craft sales messages,assemble pursuit teams, manage the proposal process, and develop proposal responses.
- Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously within diverse markets and service offerings.
- Manage, develop, and maintain capture plans for a variety of pursuits, both prime and sub-pack.
- Manage the capture plan document, document cataloguing, managing individual and team’s deadlines, and meeting facilitation.
- Lead meetings such as proposal kick-offs and reviews, and lead portions of client management and other meetings as needed.
- Coordinate pursuit teams from multiple office locations and/or service lines. Familiarity with integrated, multiple service line (Civil, Structural, Architecture, MEP, Technology, etc.) proposals preferred.
- Effectively manage and coordinate internal and external proposal data calls, including subcontractor outreach.
- Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
- Write supporting sales materials including project descriptions, resumes, service line overviews, executive summaries, etc.
- Support client management and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
- Develop familiarity with company project experience and relevanceto project pursuits.
- Mentor junior marketing coordinators and assistants to complete proposal demands.
