Job Description & How to Apply Below
Winnow & Bloom is a home organizing and concierge move-management company based in the Boston area. We work with busy families and professionals who want their homes to feel calmer, easier to live in, and genuinely functional — not just photo-ready. Every project blends thoughtful systems, real care for the client, and a steady, professional presence.
THE ROLEAs an Associate Organizer, you'll work alongside a Lead Organizer in client homes — unpacking, sorting, editing, installing systems, and refining spaces using our signature process. You'll learn how we guide clients with clarity and calm, build sustainable systems, and leave a space that actually works for how the client lives.

10–25 hours/week, typically between 9 AM and 3 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours are not guaranteed and vary based on project flow. - Availability:
You submit your weekly availability; we schedule based on project needs and what you've offered. We ask for a minimum of 3–4 days/week of availability, plus occasional flexibility for weekend or evening team meetings and project reviews. - Compensation: $25/hour, with room to grow
- Travel:
Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time for client locations beyond standard commuting thresholds (per Company policy) - Benefits:
Massachusetts Earned Sick Time, workers' compensation coverage, and standard employer payroll contributions
- Pack, unpack, sort, and group client belongings into clear categories
- Support clients through editing decisions with the language and approach you'll be trained in — guide, don't push
- Install organizing systems: bins, dividers, labels, drawer inserts, turntables
- Label using our brand standards
- Remove donations, trash, recycling, and shredding and deliver to the right drop-off
- Keep the workspace tidy and professional throughout the day
- Help with supply management and inventory at session end
- Log time and expenses daily in our time-tracking app
- Keep your availability up to date in our scheduling system
- Review your assigned Trello board before and during each project
- Take and upload project photos as directed
- Coordinate with your Lead on logistics, prep, and project debriefs WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Reliable and on time for every shift, no surprises
- Detail-oriented, with a real eye for how a finished space should look and feel
- Calm and warm in client homes, even when things are hard or emotional
- Coachable and genuinely good on a team
- Observant, stepping in on what needs doing without being asked
- Physically up for the work: lifting up to 50 lbs, being on your feet, climbing step stools, moving bins
- Dependable transportation and willingness to travel across the Boston metro
- A smartphone for time tracking, Trello, and photo uploads
- Some prior experience in education, hospitality, customer service, operations, or similar people-facing work is a plus, but not required if you bring the right qualities
- Predictable part-time hours that work around school pickup, another part-time job, or other commitments
- Interesting projects and a team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously
- Training in our methodology and standards
- The satisfaction of leaving a space (and a person) noticeably better than you found it
- Room to grow as we grow
