What you will be doing:

The Sr. Specialist, Sustainability, Market Access & Inclusion is responsible for supporting global sustainability compliance, market access activities, regulatory documentation, product stewardship programs, and environmental reporting requirements. This role serves as a key contributor to ensuring products can be legally marketed and sold while meeting evolving sustainability, packaging, environmental, and regulatory obligations. The position acts as a bridge between Regulatory, Sustainability, Product Development/Innovation, Packaging, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales teams by translating regulatory requirements into practical business actions and maintaining the documentation and reporting infrastructure needed to support market access.

This ideal candidate combines strong regulatory project management, documentation management, and sustainability compliance knowledge with a customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.

• Support implementation of sustainability, environmental, packaging, and product stewardship requirements across global markets.
• Analyze and calculate data to support this work
• Ensure documentation required to support market access is accurate, current, organized, and readily available.
• Support completion of regulatory reporting, registrations, and producer responsibility obligations.
• Provide timely and actionable updates regarding sustainability and market access requirements.
• Coordinate activities supporting compliance with packaging, environmental, and product stewardship requirements.
• Maintain relationships with contact manufacturing and raw material vendors as it pertaining to regulatory.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director – Sustainability, Market Access & Inclusion as needed.

• Knowledge of sustainability regulations, EPR programs, packaging compliance, environmental claims, and product stewardship requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory documentation, product declarations, certifications, registrations, and compliance records management.
• Ability to research regulatory requirements, interpret information, and summarize impacts in clear business terms and in different global jurisdictions eg US, EMEA, Canada etc.
• Excellent ability in quantitative and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, reporting obligations, and data collection activities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and communicate complex information clearly.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, identify data inconsistencies, and manage large volumes of compliance documentation.
• Ability to improve processes, support internal customers, and contribute to a service-oriented Regulatory & Sustainability organization.
• Willingness to attend occasionally early morning or late evening calls to meet EMEA and APO time zones (time in lieu will be provided for these instances).
• Microsoft Office Suite, notably, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
