Head Start Cook (Northampton) $5,000 Bonus
Community Action Head Start & Early Learning Programs has a unique opportunity for a food service professional. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have a passion for cooking for children, including preparing nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks for infant/toddler and preschool aged children.
Schedule and Compensation: This is a 37.5 hrs/week school year, 35 hrs/week summer months (14 weeks) position. Pay range: $20.21- $21.44.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks for infant/toddler and preschool aged children.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and 1 year cooking experience.
- Current SERV safe and allergen awareness certifications.
- Good driving record.
- Employment contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background investigation, including CORI, DCF, SORI and fingerprint-based checks.
