What we’re looking for:

Nexamp is looking to hire a Senior Construction Project Coordinator on our Commercial Operations team. You will provide high-level support to the Manager, Commercial Operations, guiding and mentoring Construction Project Coordinators and overseeing the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of key administrative deliverables that help move solar projects from development through to operation. You will also step in to support regional coordinator work during busy periods to keep projects on track.

You will be hybrid out of our Boston office. You will report to the Manager, Commercial Operations.

What you’ll do:
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely completion of all administrative deliverables produced by Construction Project Coordinators across the project lifecycle
  • Support Deployment teams by managing project pipeline milestones, including EPC contracting, construction start dates, milestone notices, and Procore project setup and maintenance.
  • Train, mentor, and provide ongoing guidance to Construction Project Coordinators on Commercial Operations contract processes, including EPC contracts, subcontractor agreements, project agreements, and non-inventory purchase orders.
  • Assign, delegate, and quality-check coordinator tasks related to contract issuance, project setup, milestone completion, and project closeout across Procore, LCPtracker, and Net Suite.
  • Partner with Legal, Commercial Operations leadership, and external vendors to review contract redlines, validate contractor onboarding qualifications, and ensure insurance and compliance requirements are met.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and cross-functional collaboration by identifying operational risks, resolving system or process roadblocks, supporting company initiatives, and monitoring upcoming portfolio and tax equity deliverables.
What you’ll bring:
  • 2+ years as a Construction Coordinator (or relevant construction experience) supporting construction projects across their lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction/project management tools (e.g., Procore, LCPtracker, Net Suite).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of administrative deliverables accurately and on time.
  • Self-motivated, comfortable with repetition, and able to maintain consistency and quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and comfort identifying and resolving operational or process roadblocks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.

If you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, but see yourself contributing, please apply.
