Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager, Contracts Manager
Metric Corporation, one of New England’s top construction/real estate development firms, is seeking senior-level construction project manager. The SPM shall be responsible for mostly company development deals ranging from $25 to $80+ million. The ideal candidate will have at least 10-15 years of construction industry experience. Must have multifamily stick frame over podium construction experience. Must be computer proficient with Procore and other related programs.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the project and knowledgeable in all trades from site work to foundations, structures and finish details.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Ensure timely and quality workmanship
- Interface with project superintendents, APMs, subcontractors, consultants, architects, inspectors and clients
- Ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed
- Review subcontractors’ scopes of work for contract execution
- Coordinate required inspections
- Maintain high standards or workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications
- Complete weekly project updates with narrative and site progress photos
- Prepare for handover to client including punch list and achieving C.O.
Required Qualifications: Well organized, Highly motivated, Excellent communication skills, Have knowledge of state and local building codes, Good references
