Your new companyThis well-established real estate development firm is based in Manhattan and has been building for the past 40 years. They have a portfolio that spans the entire country, and their Boston operation is growing. The firm is fully integrated, meaning it has a development team, a construction team, and a property management team. The construction team is also involved in development/preconstruction, but they aren't the ones crunching numbers on a spreadsheet.
This is an Assistant Project Manager position for the construction team.
As an APM with this firm, you will help manage various project types. This can range from renovation to ground-up. The main project that you will oversee initially is a large-scale office to residential conversion in Manhattan. An APM with this company will work with the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to ensure that construction is on schedule and under budget.
This is a role that will position you to grow your knowledge of the full real estate process, not just the construction trailer.
- 4–5+ years' experience.
- Construction or Real Estate-related degree preferred.
- Experience in Boston construction.
- Office 2 Residential conversion experience would be ideal.
- Experience working for the GC, for the Owner, or, ideally, both.
- Join a well-respected CRE developer in with properties across the US.
