Senior Superintendent (Multi‑Family Construction)
Experience:
Senior Level. Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year.
As a Senior Site Superintendent, you will oversee 2–3 concurrent multifamily projects ranging from approximately $1M–$5M. This role requires full ownership of field operations from project startup through closeout.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all on‑site construction activities across multiple projects
- Manage subcontractors, enforce schedules, and maintain production targets
- Uphold strict quality control standards and ensure work meets specifications
- Coordinate inspections, logistics, and day‑to‑day site operations
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Communicate effectively with internal leadership and project stakeholders
- 10+ years of direct site supervision in multifamily residential construction
- Proven experience managing both ground‑up and/or full renovation multifamily projects
- Demonstrated success leading projects independently from start to finish
- Strong track record in subcontractor management, scheduling, and quality assurance
- Proficiency with Buildertrend, Procore, MS Project, and Excel
- Stable career history with clearly completed, comparable projects
- Must be based within a practical commuting distance to Boston job sites
- Assistant superintendents without full project ownership
- Junior or early‑career field professionals
- Trade foremen lacking full‑site responsibility
- Candidates focused primarily on large‑scale commercial high‑rise work without relevant multifamily experience
