What You’ll DoAs a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with Project Managers to help plan, organize, and execute railroad track construction projects. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, giving you a well‑rounded experience and plenty of room to advance.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure safety is always the top priority
- Interpret construction drawings and project documents
- Create field sketches and construction details
- Inspect job sites for quality and progress
- Provide technical support to field crews
- Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractors
- Track materials, report progress, and help manage project budgets
- Handle RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Attend project meetings and provide updates
- Perform quality control and assurance checks
