Project Manager​/Superintendent

Position: Project Manager / Superintendent
We're hiring a Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager to lead complex residential construction projects across the Boston area.

This is a senior, field-first leadership role for someone who understands Boston construction and can independently drive projects from startup through closeout. We're looking for someone who is calm, organized, accountable, and capable of managing multiple active projects with minimal hand-holding.

The right candidate will have strong experience with ground-up multifamily construction, small to mid-sized urban residential projects, historic brownstone renovations, and full-gut renovation work. This role requires someone who understands older buildings, tight access, structural surprises, high-end finishes, and the day-to-day challenges that come with building in Boston.

This is not an assistant superintendent role. We need a senior field leader who can take ownership, manage subcontractors, keep projects moving, communicate clearly, and maintain strong control over schedule, quality, safety, and documentation.

Requirements

• Lead daily field operations across 2-3 active Boston-area projects
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, inspections, quality control, and safety
• Coordinate documentation, RFIs, punch lists, closeout, and owner communication
• Oversee project execution from startup through final completion
• Identify project issues early and proactively solve problems in the field
• Maintain strong communication with ownership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

Ideal background:

• 15-20+ years of construction experience preferred
• 10+ years of Boston-area construction experience strongly preferred
• Strong experience with ground-up multifamily, brownstone renovations, and full-gut residential projects
• Ability to independently manage 2-3 active projects
• Experience with Procore, Buildertrend, Excel, MS Project, and Bluebeam preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of construction experience required

Benefits

Compensation: $120,000-$160,000 base + bonus opportunity + benefits
