RoleWe are seeking a Construction Inspector to join a dynamic team and build a career in construction management and engineering. The role focuses on urban infrastructure, specifically utility work – primarily water and sewer pipeline and rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will identify and resolve surface restoration conflicts, work safely, and collaborate in a team-centered environment. Documentation of contractor operations is required.
Responsibilities- Apply principles and practices of civil engineering and construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Interpret plans and specifications; prepare, present, evaluate, monitor, and maintain project records and documents.
- Follow and adhere to all federal and state regulations, client requirements and contracts, and company policies and procedures, including safety, ADA requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Associate’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.
- 4-10 years of construction inspection or oversight experience focused on utility work – primarily water and sewer pipeline and rehabilitation.
- In-depth knowledge of drawings, plans, specifications, and general contract documents.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to work under unfavorable weather conditions year‑round and traverse rough, steep terrain while performing duties.
Salary range: $63,000 – $105,000. Final agreed compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
