Project Executive – Hospitality Construction & Capital Projects Owner/Developer | National Hotel Portfolio

A privately held real estate owner/developer with a large national hospitality portfolio is seeking a Project Executive to oversee hotel renovation, repositioning, and select new construction projects across its portfolio.

This is an ownership-side role, not a general contractor position. The Project Executive will act as an internal owner’s representative, managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and brand standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple hotel renovation and construction projects from planning through completion
  • Serve as the owner’s representative with contractors, consultants, design teams, franchise partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, change orders, pay applications, and project reporting
  • Oversee RFPs, bid packages, contractor selection, proposal leveling, and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate design teams including architects, interior designers, engineers, and specialty consultants
  • Ensure projects comply with hotel brand standards, PIP requirements, and operational goals
  • Provide leadership and oversight to site-based project staff
  • Identify risks, scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and schedule challenges early in the process
  • Travel to project sites as needed, typically several days per month
Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of construction management, owner’s representation, or project management experience
  • Strong hospitality renovation experience preferred
  • Experience managing hotel projects with budgets of $5M+
  • Familiarity with franchise/brand standards and PIP processes preferred
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contractor management skills
  • Experience using construction management tools such as Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with ownership, consultants, contractors, and brand representatives

This is a senior-level opportunity to join a well-capitalized hospitality owner/developer with a significant national portfolio and an active pipeline of renovation and capital improvement projects.
