On-Site Integrity Monitor (Construction Risk & Compliance)

Location: Boston, MA (Downtown Boston)

Duration: Approximately 12–15 Months

Schedule: Part-Time, Approximately 50 Hours Per Month (10–15 Hours Per Week)

We are seeking an experienced On‑Site Integrity Monitor to support a large‑scale commercial construction project on behalf of a leading organization. This individual will serve as the eyes and ears of the project team, conducting periodic site visits, observing construction activities, engaging with contractors and subcontractors, and identifying potential operational, compliance, financial, or reputational risks. Working closely with the project leadership team, the On‑Site Integrity Monitor will provide objective observations and field intelligence that help identify concerns before they become project risks.

This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional, safety consultant, compliance specialist, former contractor, or law enforcement professional with strong field experience and sound judgment.

• Conduct regular on‑site visits to a large‑scale commercial construction project.
• Observe daily construction activities, workforce presence, subcontractor participation, and overall site operations.
• Verify that contractors and subcontractors performing work align with approved project documentation.
• Identify potential risk indicators, irregularities, or concerns requiring further review by the project team.
• Document observations related to contractor activity, site conditions, workforce concerns, and operational risks.
• Gather factual information that may indicate financial, compliance, safety, or reputational risks.
• Provide objective written reports summarizing observations and findings.
• Escalate concerns appropriately while avoiding assumptions or unsupported conclusions.

• Interact professionally with contractors, subcontractors, craft workers, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct informal information‑gathering conversations with site personnel when appropriate.
• Maintain a neutral, professional presence while representing the monitoring program.
• Collaborate with internal project stakeholders to support investigations and risk assessments when needed.

• Complete standardized observation reports and site monitoring templates.
• Track and communicate findings through Excel‑based reporting tools and written summaries.
• Participate in periodic discussions with the project team regarding site observations and potential areas of concern.
• Ensure all reporting remains factual, balanced, and evidence‑based.

• 10+ years of construction industry experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction projects, job site operations, subcontractor management, and contractor relationships.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits, monitoring activities, or compliance reviews.
• Ability to independently assess situations and communicate findings clearly and objectively.
• Strong written documentation and communication skills.
• Comfortable working both independently in the field and collaboratively with a remote project team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and basic reporting tools.

• Prior experience as an Integrity Monitor, Construction Monitor, Compliance Monitor, Construction Auditor, Inspector, or similar role.
• Experience working for a general contractor, subcontractor, owner's representative, or construction management firm.
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or other construction safety certifications.
• Construction safety, risk management, quality assurance, or compliance experience.
• Law enforcement, investigative, or fraud‑related experience.
• Experience supporting large commercial, infrastructure, transportation, financial services, or data center construction projects.
