An established building envelope contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex commercial façade projects from preconstruction through completion, working alongside experienced field and office teams on high-profile developments.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in façade construction, with experience managing multiple projects while maintaining quality, schedule, safety, and profitability.
Responsibilities- Manage commercial façade and building envelope projects from award through closeout.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, forecasting, and cost control.
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, budget, and project progress.
- Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Support field operations by working closely with Superintendents to manage installation sequencing, manpower, and site logistics.
- Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions to maintain programme and profitability.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships that promote repeat business.
- Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience within commercial façade, cladding, or building envelope construction.
Proven experience managing projects involving one or more of the following systems:
- ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) panels
- Strong understanding of commercial construction contracts and project administration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining financial performance and client satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction management software.
- OSHA certification is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial management capabilities.
- Proactive problem solver with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
