HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Senior Construction Site Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
PositionDescription:
The Senior Construction Site Manager provides on-site leadership, coordinates subcontractors and internal teams, manages project schedules and resources, and serves as a primary communication link between field operations, project management, and stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:- Manage the design and development of systems architecture that integrates hardware, software, and networking components for transportation systems.
- Manage integration strategies to ensure interoperability and compatibility across subsystems and platforms.
- Oversee integration testing and validation processes to verify system functionality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies for systems integration projects.
- Work closely with engineering teams (electrical, software, mechanical), project managers, and stakeholders to align integration efforts with overall project objectives.
- Identify and mitigate integration risks, ensuring smooth deployment and operation of integrated systems.
- Manage day-to-day construction activities from project initiation through closeout.
- Ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and deliver progress reports to senior leadership and clients.
- Supervise and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and site personnel, assigning tasks and setting expectations.
- Plan and allocate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, inspectors, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, schedules, budgets, RFIs, and change orders.
- Identify obstacles proactively, and recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- 5-10+ years of construction management experience, including supervision of large-scale or complex projects.
- Demonstrated success managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field operations.
- Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Qualifications:
- Rail and Systems Intervention experience.
- ISO 900 experience.
- PMP, CCM, OSHA 30, LEED, or other relevant professional certifications.
