Job Responsibilities

Manage daily field operations for ground-up commercial construction projects.

Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.

Conduct subcontractor kickoff meetings and communicate project expectations, schedules, safety requirements, and site procedures.

Maintain and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion.

Perform site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and compliance with plans and specifications.

Prepare daily construction reports documenting manpower, work completed, inspections, progress, and site conditions.

Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Coordinate activities between multiple trades to maintain efficient workflow.

Identify and resolve field issues, delays, and construction conflicts.

Communicate regularly with project managers, owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Support project closeout activities, including inspections, documentation, warranties, and final turnover.

Enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies.

Monitor project milestones, schedule progress, and field performance.

5-10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent managing commercial construction projects.

Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $2M-$8M.

Active Construction Supervisor License (CSL) required.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors and open-shop trade partners.

Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and field operations.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Experience preparing daily reports and maintaining project documentation.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule.
